Prayer of Deliverance

The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work (1 John 3:8).

Our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, we praise and worship you this day. We humbly bow before you in gratitude for dying an inglorious death for our sake that we might live through faith in you. You rose from the dead and even now sit at the right hand of the Father in glory interceding for us. Your love is wide and long and high and deep and so difficult for us to grasp. And yet by faith we know it’s true that your love encompasses your power, justice, and righteousness. Nothing, no nothing, can separate us from you—not demons or hardship or faltering or pain or doubts. You are our God and we are your children. We stand on your rock-solid promises that when you begin a work in us you complete it. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for defeating Satan and indeed death itself. Thank you for drawing us to you and watching over us as a hen does her brood of chickens.

Lord, some among us are assaulted by demons during the night and also during the day. They hear and see them and desperately want them gone. Ann M. participated in Native American spiritual practices until an evil spirit tormented her. She has known you since 2008, but they continue to assault her. Lord, we collectively bring her before you and pray that you silence them. Tell them to be quiet! A demon accuses Sara of dreadful things and we pray that you silence his voice. She loves you dearly and we pray that you send him away.  Quiet her mind, dear Lord, and quiet the mind of others we know who are privately tormented. We pray for Deb’s neighbor who so desperately needs to know you. We pray for E. who struggles with “a voice” of darkness. We pray for D.G who is sometimes viciously tormented at night. Please heal them.  Bring Scripture verses to mind to remind them of your truth. We also pray for _______________. Destroy Satan’s work in our lives!

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Amen
